At Shappy, we’ve been designing play sofas since 2021 with one clear goal: to create the most thoughtful, well-crafted, and honest product on the market. We’re a family-run brand from Poland, and we believe real quality starts with real responsibility.

1. Carefully selected foam — certified, durable, safe

We use only OEKO-TEX® certified foam, produced by trusted Polish manufacturers. While many lower-cost sofas use low-density foam like T18 (which quickly collapses and can’t hold adult weight), we chose high-resilience, high-density foam that retains its shape for years and offers real support — for kids and adults alike.

And unlike some imported products, our foam contains no added chalk or fillers just to trick you with weight. What you feel is genuine quality — not shortcuts.

2. Thought-through design. Sewn with care — not speed.

Our sofas aren’t sewn on a production line chasing numbers. They’re made in trusted sewing workshops, where details matter:

• Hidden seams on the front for a clean, minimalist look
• Double stitching in key areas (like Ultra Plush) for extra durability
• Dyed zippers that match the fabric — because even hidden elementsshould  be  beautiful 
• Finishes that reflect our love for good design and craftsmanship

Most manufacturers aim to make their covers fast and cheap. We designed ours to be timeless, elegant, and built to last.

3. Materials that are made to be lived with

We don’t use the cheapest fabrics — we use the right ones:

• Ultra Plush – heavenly soft, pet-friendly, stain-hiding, and durable
• Original & Pure Corduroy – structured, elegant ribbed fabrics, each with its own stitching style
• Teddy – cozy and washable, perfect for the snugglers
• Waffle – bold and textured, combining thick corduroy with Bunny’s softness

All of them are chosen for beauty, longevity, and ease of cleaning — so your sofa looks amazing on day one and ten years later.

4. Our add-ons aren’t just nice. They’re brilliant.

From our signature Shappy Arches, which extend the sofa into a full-size bed or creative building base, to our evolving range of accessories like Slide and Rocker — we’re constantly designing new ways to enhance the play experience. And they’re all made with the same level of detail and care.
