For US orders, we ship from Poland under DAP terms (Delivered At Place). This means that the product price and shipping cover transportation to the delivery address only. Import duties, tariffs, taxes, customs clearance fees and UPS/brokerage fees are not included and are the customer's responsibility.
Shappy orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Poland.
All products are dispatched according to the processing time shown on the product page. Typically, this is up to 5 working days. During promotional periods, processing time may be extended due to high order volume.
Yes. If you need your order for a specific date, mention this in the "Additional Information" field when placing your order. We will do our best to meet your request or notify you within 24 hours if shipping on your requested date is not possible.
Shappy offers a 30-day return period for online orders placed through heyshappy.com.
Before sending any item back, contact us at contact@heyshappy.com. We will provide the correct return address for our warehouse. Please do not send products to addresses found online, on social media or to our registered office address, as these locations are not equipped to process returns.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Products such as play sofas expand after unpacking and cannot usually be returned in their original packaging once expanded. If you return an unpacked product, it must be carefully and securely repacked to avoid damage in transit.
Refunds are processed after the returned product has been received and inspected. Refunds are usually issued to the original payment method unless another agreed method is used.

The Shappy play sofa features two foldable foam pads, two sturdy triangular cushions, two armrests, and two rounded pillows, all covered with removable and washable covers. Most Shappy sofas, except for the Shappy Original Corduroy, come with handy carrying straps for easy relocation. Plus, the zippers are protected with zip covers to keep small fingers safe.

The covers are removable and machine washable at 30°C. Please rely on the product page and current warranty terms for the exact model and market conditions.
Shappy is designed as furniture for play, lounging and everyday family life. Its modular format, removable covers and durable construction are intended to support repeated use over time.
The base cushions are sewn together in pairs. The fabric also creates natural friction between the pieces, which helps keep builds stable during normal use.
Shappy is designed to fit in tight places and is highly adaptable and comes in two sizes: Original with 160 cm x 80 cm and Original Mini with 120 cm x 60 cm.

Shappy is designed for everyday sitting, lounging and supervised play. We do not publish a single universal weight limit for every model and configuration. Please supervise active play and contact us if you need guidance for a specific use.
We've discovered one sort of foam after extensive testing with our own children.
This was done to make Shappy lighter for kids to be able to move pieces about on their own while also making sure that the thickness of both of our bases, which ensures strength and durability over time.
The base and the support are sturdy but still comfortable and let you feel like you're sitting on a cloud. The trapezoid-like triangles can be used as a sturdy backrest but also as forts support. Finally, the through pillows are super comfy and just cushy, perfect for laying your head on them.
We use carefully tested polyurethane foam selected for everyday play and lounging. The foam is made without ozone-depleting substances, PBDE, TDCPP or TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead and other heavy metals. Please follow the care and safety information supplied with your product.
Our covers are made in Poland from carefully selected fabrics. They are soft to the touch, removable and machine washable at 30°C. Fabric performance varies by collection, so check the product page for the selected model.
While Shappy is designed with comfort in mind, it is primarily intended for playtime and lounging. It provides a cozy spot for kids to relax, read, and enjoy imaginative play. While it can be used for sleepovers or nap time, we recommend it as a temporary solution rather than a permanent sleeping arrangement.
Yes, you can! Just place a play mat underneath. Alternatively, you can choose our outdoor version, the Shappy Leather, which is waterproof and extremely easy to clean.
Shappy is rather low-maintenance, as its polyester covers are very easy to clean for little spills and can go in the washing machine when necessary at 30℃! We recommend washing all of your Shappy covers together to maintain consistency - Shappy should be dried flat and need a quick groom with a lint brush or vacuum from time to time!
We love dogs and cats and all the pets around the world so that’s why our Ultra Plush Fabric is pet-friendly. Fabrics from this group have undergone special laboratory tests to check resistance to snagging caused by scratching. They are very durable and easy to clean.
Yes, we design all our products to look good even after months or years of use. All covers are removable and can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees, except for our outdoor version, the Shappy Leather.
Shipping is free of charge within the countries where Shappy is available. We ship to the EU, US, UK, and Switzerland. Malta is currently excluded from shipping.
For deliveries to the UK, we ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), so no extra VAT or customs fees are added to your order. However, a customs fee of €30 applies.
Your Shappy Play Sofa will arrive in a single, compact box measuring 40 cm x 40 cm x 87 cm. It's rolled up for efficient shipping, so once you unpack it, the foam will expand and the fabric will smooth out with use. The sofa will be ready for play and relaxation as soon as it’s unpacked!
Please allow at least 2 weeks for the foam to fully expand and for any creases in the fabric to disappear. The time it takes for the fabric to smooth out can vary depending on the type. For some products, like Shappy Leather and Shappy Play Set, which are shipped uncompressed, you will receive 2 or 3 boxes.
If you've changed your mind about your order, you will be eligible for a refund as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet. To cancel an order, please email us for help at contact@heyshappy.com with the subject line "CANCEL Order [Your Order Number]" and our customer team will get back to you ASAP.
This is completely normal. Larger orders may be delivered in multiple shipments, and packages can arrive on different days.
Some products are dispatched from different warehouses. Instead of holding your entire order until everything is consolidated in one location, we ship each item as soon as it’s ready. This allows part of your order to reach you faster.
You will receive a separate tracking number for each package via email.
There’s nothing you need to do — we’re carefully monitoring the logistics to ensure all items arrive as quickly as possible.
At Shappy, we want you to love your purchase! That’s why we offer a 30-day ‘no cause’ return policy for orders from heyshappy.com. If you’re a Consumer, you can cancel within 30 days of receiving your product. Just let us know by emailing contact@heyshappy.com or writing to us at our Store’s address. We’ll confirm your cancellation once we receive it.
For items like the Shappy Play Sofa that expand when unpacked, returning them in their original packaging isn’t possible once used. If you’ve unpacked it, make sure to repackage it carefully to avoid damage. It should be in its original condition, complete, and show no signs of use. If the product is used beyond just checking it out or is returned incomplete or too worn, you might be responsible for a decrease in its value, and we may adjust the refund amount accordingly.
You’ll need to cover the shipping cost to return the product. Please send it back within 14 days of notifying us. The return shipping cost is your responsibility.
We’ll process your refund to the same account used for the original payment, unless you suggest a different method that doesn’t incur extra costs. Refunds will be issued within 7 days after we receive the returned product or proof of return.
Oh no! We take pride in the quality of our Shappy, but we may not always get it right. Please review your Shappy as soon as it arrives and inform us of any problems within 48 hours.
Shappy comes with a 3-year warranty. Our play sofas are made right here in our factory, so we can swiftly fix any problems. ... Don't worry; your Shappy will be as good as new in no time!

All our products come with a limited three-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects that functionally impair the look or use of your product.

The warranty only applies to products purchased directly from heyshappy.com, within one year of purchase, and is only provided to the person who made the purchase. If your Shappy was purchased second-hand, it will not be covered by the three-year warranty.
