"Win a Shappy" Contest
Introduction: Welcome to the "Win a Shappy" Contest, organized by Shappy sp. z o.o. (the “Sponsor”). These Contest Rules, together with Shappy sp. z o.o.'s General Terms of Service (the “General Terms”), regulate your participation in this giveaway. Should any conflict arise between these Contest Rules and the General Terms, the Contest Rules will prevail.
By entering this Contest, you acknowledge your full and unconditional agreement to these Contest Rules and the General Terms, and affirm that you meet all the eligibility requirements.
Sponsorship: The Contest is exclusively sponsored by Shappy sp. z o.o. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed by, or associated with any social media platforms or other companies.
Agreement to Rules: Participation in the "Win a Shappy" Contest constitutes entrants' complete and unconditional agreement to these Contest Rules and the General Terms. By entering, you represent that you fulfill all eligibility criteria.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the Contest, you must be:
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- A legal resident of the European Union Employees, directors, officers, and immediate family members of the Sponsor, its affiliates, or subsidiaries, are not eligible to participate. Immediate family includes parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners.
Entry Instructions: Entry into the Contest does not require a purchase. Eligible individuals can enter by visiting the designated Contest page provided by the Sponsor during the Contest period and following the entry instructions. Entry may require providing personal information such as name, email address, and country of residence. By entering, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information by the Sponsor for Contest administration purposes.
Contest Period: The Contest begins at 10:00 a.m., Central European Time, on July 1, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m., Central European Time, on July 31, 2024. Entries submitted outside of this timeframe will not be eligible.
Prize Selection and Notification: After the Contest period, one entry will be randomly selected as the potential winner. The potential winner will be notified by the Sponsor via email within the week following the Contest's conclusion. The selected participant must comply with all Contest rules and requirements to claim their prize.
Winners Announcement: The confirmed winner will be announced via email to all participants and may also be featured on the Sponsor’s official website and social media platforms. This ensures transparency and celebrates the winner’s success.
Prize Details: The lucky winner will receive a "Shappy Play Sofa," an innovative and comfortable addition to any home, valued at approximately €369-€649. The exact model and specifications will be at the discretion of the Sponsor based on availability.
General Conditions:
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if any problem prevents the Contest from being conducted as planned.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner, or the distribution of the prize.
Privacy Policy: By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to the Sponsor's use of their personal information as described in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. This may include sending marketing communications and promotional offers, subject to the entrant's right to unsubscribe at any time.
Liability Limitation: Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or damage arising out of participation in this Contest or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
Dispute Resolution: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the European Union, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge that the decision of the Sponsor is final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. Participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to the Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of your name, likeness, biography, voice, photographs, and statements for promotional purposes, in all forms of media, now or hereafter known, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law.
